The Koala and the Little Lizard

A koala is sitting up a gumtree smoking a joint when a little lizard walks past and looks up and says "Hey Koala! what are you doing?" The koala says: "Smoking a joint, come up and have some."

So the little lizard climbs up and sits next to the koala and they have a few joints. After a while the little lizard says his mouth is 'dry' and is going to get a drink from the river. But the little lizard is so stoned that he leans too far over and falls into the river.

A crocodile sees this and swims over to the little lizard and helps him to the side, then asks the little lizard: "What's the matter with you?" The little lizard explains to the crocodile that he was sitting smoking a joint with the koala in the tree, got too stoned and then fell into the river while taking a drink.

The crocodile says he has to check this out and walks into the rain forest, finds the tree where the koala is sitting finishing a joint, and he looks up and says "Hey you!"

So the koala looks down at him and says:
"Faaaaarrrrk dude.......how much water did you drink?!!"

A boss walked into the office one morning not knowing that his zipper was down, and his fly wide open.

His secretary walked up to him and said, "boss this morning when you left your house, did you close your garage door?" this was not a phrase that her boss understood, so he went into his Office looking a bit puzzled.

When he was about done with his paper work, he suddenly noticed that his zipper was not zipped up. He zipped up and remembering what his secretary had told him, finally understood.

he then intentionally went out to ask for a cup of coffee from his

Well been a bit busy here at the home front ... hectic as hell ... I have been running the warehouse for the middle two weeks of January … and will now be running the warehouse for the next three weeks … ok I’m all for becoming a Manager one day in my life … but now having the position given to me for temporary periods … I don’t know … it’s a huge responsibility … and you can really get massive headaches from dealing with other department heads and keeping on to the schedules … >Sigh< … plus the 5:30am starts and 5:30pm to 6pm finishes … can get a bit too much … add to the fact that I can’t really argue with the other mangers coz they are ranked higher than me … is kind of pissing me off right now … yeah I know I shouldn’t let it get to me … but it does … rant rant rant rant … ok I’ll shut up about it now … >le sigh<

I think I’m going senile … coz I’m hating meetings with senior managers … I guess I am more plastic than I though … coz I can seem so nice to these people … but deep down I’m just rolling my eyes … >le sigh< … should stop thinking about this …

Well went out and watched it last week ... yes ... telling about it way after the fact again ... seems to be my lot in life right now ... anyhow ... I have to say I enjoyed it ... it was interesting enought plot wise that it could only be based on someone's real life experience ... life is always more interesting that fiction ... but I have to say ... there is one disturbing thing about the movie ... the fact that it makes it to be on big Paedophile movie ... as according to the movie the Chairman was smitten by her since she was nine and told her he loved her in her early tweenties ... which is not what happened in the book ... but it was amusing to draw that conclusion ...

Oh hum ... the Aussie Open has been won by Roger Federer ... after a hard fought match ... vs Marcos Baghdatis to win 5-7 7-5 6-0 6-2 ... bwahahahah ... Told you Colin!!! ... 4 sets Lah!!! ... Federer is just too good ... and if he wins the French Open I think he'll go all the way and get the Grand Slam ... w00t w00t ...

Anyway that's not what this entry is suppose to be about ... on a similar topic but ... this time last year I was in Melbourne watching the Tennis action up close and personally ... but this year ... it could not be ... so I went down to the Sydney Medibank International instead to get my live tennis fix ...

Go to see Sam Sosa play live ... got to love it when an aussie plays ... the crowd is just electric ... even if she was struggling ... the crowd was still behind her 200% ... got to also see the Womens final ... where I got to see Justin Henin Ardenne play and win ... too bad about her retiring hurt in the Aussie Open ... it was a good match ... and worth the price of admission ...

There was a rain delay due to a small amount of water falling down ... it was funny when it happened as I got to see the ground crew come running out whipping down the court ...

Include in the crowd for the women's finals where 'te Rach and Kuya Steve ... and 'te Chris and Kuya Minh ... didn't find Rach and Steve in the stands but I did managed to find Chrissie and Minh ... hehehehe

Of courses there are always the oddites that you get to see when you out for a day in a sporting event ... there was the interesting score board ...

And the question of whethier this is a ball boy or a ball man ...

Well it's the year of the dog ... and if I could just figure out my phone I would download the pics that I took from it and post it here ... but unfortunatly my geek powers are currently failing me ... so you do not get to see photos of the Bonnyrig Temple during their New Year Celebration ... there were ten dragons and lots of fire crackers ... :D ... the fire crackers where fun to watch coz the guy that light them didn't light them properly so he had to light them again ... which in turn ment he was really close to the exploding crackers ... hehehe ... yeah I find it amusing ...

Ahhh ... old school anime ... I just recently bought the thrid series for a cheap price at JB Hi-Fi ... I bought the Macross Saga when it frist came out ... now it's at half price ... but I don't mind ... I love the Macross Saga ... having watched the Next Generation last night ... I'm just have to re-watch the Macross Saga ... hehehe ... this is making me wishing I bought the Southern Cross as well ... oh well ... now I know what to get with next weeks pay ... hehehehe

I'm not normally into Anime about big robots but the Macross Saga like the Dragon Ball Series have a special place in my kiddie heart ... hehehehe ...

Well took my Panther for a spin last night at EMIRs ... seeing as Damo has finally come down from QLD ... and gotten his stuff ready ... hehee ... Mr I will Bring the terrian but forgets about it :-P

Well he took his Aussie Inf Company vs my 3 Panther Army ... and proceeded to give me a swift kick in the nads with it ... all that after getting him a beer too ... thanks Damo ... hehehe ...

Hadn't gone to the club for a while ... seeing as there where too many things happening during the Christmas break ... with Nat back from Thialand as well ... it should be once again my regualr gaming fix ... oh Welcome back Nat ... heheehhe .. :)

Well a new year ... and it seems like a sporty year for me ... I've been to two tennis games and two basketball games ... with hopes that I'll see two soccer games too ... I was suppose to go to see the Cricket ... but I slept in in the end ... Sorry Richie ... :)

The Sydney Entertainment Centre is the home of the Sydney Kings ... 'te Irene currently works with one of the sponsors ... so I can ask her for tickets :) ... Thank you ate ... ehhehee ... I appricate all the freebies ... :D ...

Now I've watched international basketball games and NBA games live ... and the NBL unfortunately is a poor comparision ... the crowds just aren't into it ... and the commentiator ... don't get me started on him ... he's cries of "Defense Defense" are so horrid ... that I cringe at his shouts ... mind you the game between Wollongong and the Kings was better than the Game between the Razorbacks and the King ... the Hawks have got a better game than the Razorbacks ... and the Kings being a 3 point team ... lack an post game ... so it's just a shoot out ... which when you have a huge 18 point lead ... means no show time ...

The real reason to go to a Kings game is to watch the Lion do his thing ... he's more entertaining than the commentaitor ... and he gets the crowd roaring more than anything ...

He got the crowd roaring so much that poor Phil was deaf coz of the girl next to him ... hehehehe ... :-P

And then you could always play ... the is it a girl or a boy game ... hehehehe

Grrrr ... ever have the time ... when you've set up all your comp gear ... nicely laid out ... and when you've booted it all up ... you remember that you don't have all the CD software for them (yeah I misplaced them ok) ... too top it all off ... silly wireless keep on dropping out ... >le sigh<

Well I was suppose to take a pic of my new phone ... but with the webcam demanding software ... and my digicam being le battery less ... no pics ... oh well ... will take pics later ... cam should have recharged ... :P ... was going through my old phone listing and transfering numbers to my new phone ... man ... so many people that I don't talk to anymore ... oh well ... phone book is lighter now ... :)

Well that was a fun day ... didn't go to work at 6am ... hehehehe ... I think that was all I need some good decent bed rest ... not that sleep much of the day yesterday wasn't restful ... but you know ... feeling much better now ... all I have left is a stuffy nose ... and that should go away soon enough ... w00t w00t ...

Went down to Castle Towers today ... meet up with Justin to grab his Bokur off him ... he seems to keep changing his mind about his list ... while I just scavange the the peices he discards ... the kid paints up really nicely too ... too bad I need to paint over the thing to fit my army ...

Also got my mits on No Quater 4 ... got to say ... once again ... what a great waste of my money ... I swear I should stop buying into these mags ... White Dwarf was bad enough ... this is just as pricey with even less content ... sorry Ed ... I give it a bigs buttsechs thumbs down ... only two articles that I wanted to read ... and I read them in two seconds ... pfft ... and what's worse PP has stopped doing it's Monday Updates ... for chirst sake WHY!!! ... coz the updates are all in the mag ... please ... copying GW to the death seems like the way it's going ... oh hum ...

Judge slammed for molester's 60-day sentence...

Now ok ... the guy is mentally ill ... but he was molesting the poor kid for 4 years ... Zues man ... for 4 years worth of pain and suffering ... you get 60 days in prison ... ok ... that's 60 days of buttsechs ... but come on ...

This is one of the worse types of crimes you could possibly commit ... and I'm sure that 60 days isn't an appropriate sentence for this sort of crime ... you could go to jail for longer periods for lesser crimes ...

Ahhh ... the humanity of the situation ...

Well the event happened a while back ago ... but it's blog worthy ... seeing that I have a few pics here and there ... it was held at the Shellbourne in Sydney and I went along with Thein and Shazza ... hehehe ... it was a good night with free food and free booze ... so how could complain about that ... too bad the the steak was only so so ... but the Calamari for entree and the Chocolate cake for desert was nice ... and did I say there was free booze ... heehehhe ... top it of by me winning a lucky door prize of a 25 DVD collection ... :D ... winna ... after wards it was down stairs to the dance floor where their was a good mix of music being played ... old school R&B and dance muisc with pop ... the beats where good the and the company was good ... so it was all good ...

Well the finaical statments are out and things don't look good for Games Workshop ... Yes I know ... I've been thralling the boards again today ... :)

For the GW Investor Review and For it's current Stock Price.

What scares me the most is the fact their operating profit margins ... Profit before tax 28/11/05 £0.1m and 27/11/04 £7.7m .... from 7.7m pounds to 100,000 pounds ... OUCH ...

Mind you I didn't relasie the the company had such huge overheads ... oh well ... many people have claimed that GW was going down ... and it looks like the decline has already begun .... would hate to see them go but ... they do make some nice minis ...

Yup ... 10 days into the new year and I'm sick ... mind you I have no one else to blame but myself ... considering the fact that I went out on Monday night wearing nothing but my gym gear ... and that being a thin sleveless shirt ... so when the warm weather turned windy ... well ... enough said ...

Well now I should post something long and meaning full ... coz I don't normally post anything long and meaningful ... just short and crap ... yeah ... must be my life ... >shurgs< ... During my sabatical from work been thinking about the friends that I have ... I've known quiet a few for years now ... but at the same token the I've also been thinking about the friends that I used to have ... people that where important in my life at one stage ... but are no longer around or those that are still around no longer play as an important part in my life that they use to ... mid life crisis perhaps?

Thinking back from the begining when I first came here to Australia there was 'te Tonette, 'te Chris and Jop plus later on Dan and Rach ... these people influcenced me greatly as for the frist part of my six years of my life ... the things I can remeber doing ... mmm ... which I shouldn't write here ... coz they are way way to embrassing for all of you to know .... then add in Kach and John ... and we complete the set of family friends that where with me for ages ... they are still a semi part of my life ... as I do see they at family gatherings and functions ... with all bar Jop and John being married now ... John's getting married this month ... so that leaves Jop and Me as being the last one out of that group that isn't married ... happy days ... hehehe ...

Then there is my set of school friends that where with me from Primary till Uni ... Billy, Pacqual, Louie, Aaron, Juls, Steve, Zands, Jeff, Luche, and RJ ... if you know who my friends are then you know who I am ... that statement is so true ... as I can see that I have some qualities of each of these friends inside me ... they played an important part of in my life as they where there for the longest period of my development ... damn ... so of those Physce classes have been embedded in my mind ... heheheh ... I still talk to a few of them ... and run in to the others once in a while ... and once again I will not say all the crappy things that have happened in my child hood ... god there are so many stupid moments ... funny how they are all fond memomries ... hehehehe

Then comes the group of people I meet during my stint at TAFE and Uni ... Chris, Dennis, Dave and Dave and Dave ... lots of Daves ... Radin, James, Eug, and Frank. So funnny .. James was around during the Iragi war ... and he was an Iraqi ... hehehe ... it was so funny being around with him during the televised coverage as he kept on yelling that they should kill Saddam ... hehehe ... Davis was the one that introded me to the expensive world of the GW hobby ... and Radin and Frank keep my hobby feed ... god I miss Radin ... he was so funny ... and he called himself a "land crocdile" ... and once again I won't say what that means ... that's for him to explain ... hehehehe ... with this group there aren't as many memories that I can't share ... hehhee ... maybe I will next time ...

Final group is my old work friends group, Karl, Mario and Rob ... soo many late nights ... so many drinking moments ...

mmm ... so many have come and gone ... but at the same time so many new people in my life too ....

Crime and Punishment ...

Well that's all everyone seems to have been talking about and thinking about for the past couple of hours ... on MSN I've had quite a few convos about the pros and cons about Capital Punishment ... the pros and cons of life in prisonment ...

It seems Australia is transfixed on these thoughts coz it is one of our nationals whose head was heading for the noose (yeah bad pun was intended) ... I guess I've been just reading way too many articles about this ... and hence not getting any real work done again ... hmmmm ... but it is food for though ...

Online Opinion has a nice article about captial punishment in other countires ... I think it's well worth the read ... and can put some perpective on some things ... Google News has a whole list of resourse for people that are interested in find out more about the topic ... and even gamers in general are spending time reflecting on it as can been see on Warseer ...

I like one comment that was raised in all the discussions that I've seen about Van Nyugen ... that only in Australia could this happen ... where people would want to demand from their Government ... a trade embargo for the release of a criminal ... yes at the end of the day he was a criminal ... thinking back on it ... it seems like Oz has a lot of Criminal legends ... Ned Kelly and Chopper Reid come straight to mind ...

Is it just coz we can see our own mortality in this tragady ... which is why we are so drawn to this saga ... the fact he was only 25 ... and he was well intentioned ... coz it was for his brother ... even though I though it was navie of him to even try it ... especially knowing the laws in Singapore ...

At the end of the day I can't really see how anything could have been changed by our government ... he was caught in Singapore ... and it is their right to trail him and punish him as they see fit ... would someone try and do that here in Australia I'm sure we wouldn't want anyone messing with our affiars ... so how could it be any different for any other country ... while I'm agaisnt captail punishment in this case ... yes there are some cases where I think death is the proper punishment ... I couldn't see any other way this could have ended ... even though I ... like thousands of others was hoping for an 11th hour reprieve ... but it was not ment to be ...

Made my way down to EMIRs last night ... it was a quite night ... with only Tom and Jason there too keep me company ... Mr Parr doesn't count ... coz he was playing a game made by the "evil" Empire ... hehehehehe ....

Damn ... got to say ... when Tom took out his Soviet Gun Line ... it was scary as well ... my poor Pz IIIs where trembeling in thier wake ... mind you I did give him a good run for his money ... and if I had a bit more luck on my side it would have been a different result ... yes yes ... it's never my tactics ... always the dice ...

Got to feel sorry for Jase ... man ... he's dice rolling is just as bad a Mr. Lake's ... and I propose those too should have a game together ... coz then they both can't complain about bad dice rolling ... ahhahahaahha ... :) ...

Well out of complete lazyness last night I didn't go to the gym ... yes I know I should of but the rain was pouring and I just couldn't get my lazy ass to go ... so instead of hitting the exercise machines at the gym ... I ended up at my LGS and sat down for hours eating chips and drinking soda ... yes ... my fitness regieme is working out fine ... >le sigh<

Anyhow ... I did get to try out my two decks for VTES ... so it wasn't a compelete waste of time ... both decks are now Brusie and Bleed decks ... with the Akunanse deck having a small bloat component due to the hunt and blood doll combos I've set up ... and the Gangrel antitribu having a small rush component coz of the fact they can do agg damage ... overall it work well ... both games wheren't played out in full due to players leaving ... but I would have gotten 1 - 3 VPs each game ... my only problem seems to be against full bloat decks where I can't get through them fast enough due to the fact that I only really ever bleed for 3 at the most ... oh well ... need to design a heavy combat deck for next week ... fun fun fun ...

Well another weekend come and gone ... which means we are getting closer and closer to Christmas ... and which in turns means that we are getting closer and closer to the new year ... as the saying goes ... time flies when you having fun ...

Weekend in review ... started of with an interesting friday evening in the company of the Tiger Kult ... no it's not some werido funky religion but a group of FoW gamers that reside in the North Ryde area ... thanks to Mr. Lake for the hospitality and for the group in general to agreeing to become part of the crew ... was interesting to see how real tourney goers play the game ... real different to the way I normally play it ... so that ends late night number one ... where we spent most of it talking about World War II ...

Saturady evening was KL & Edgar plus Kit's slide show night ... got to say thanks of KL & Edgar for hosting the event and the yummy food ... Mr. Wong for the coffee (even though he made me make my own) ... after that night it felt like I've been to India and Egypt now (thanks to the two hour slide shows on eah ... Kit you need to be better prepared and photoedit you pics too like what KL did) ...

Sunday was suppose to be a quiet one ... just badminton with the gang ... I blame my lack of sleep over tonights for my utter lack of performance ... I couldn't time my shots for peanuts ... somehow but I ended up at the game store and started sorting out my cards again ... I always seem to be doing that ... fixed up two decks to for tonights gaming ... but I have a feeling that they won't be any good ... mmmmm ... time to hassle Mr. Vega I think and get some tips on good deck construction ...

Oh well it was eventful ... maybe should just have a quite one this week ... here's hoping ...

did not provoke the fight, so I feel no remorse for what I was forced to do. We were arguing and seeing that I was right and he was wrong, he decided to fight to cover for his insecurity.

He swung at me first, but being in top condition, I was able to block the punch neatly with my head. Whereupon I jumped to the ground, knocking him down on top of me. Then I poked his finger several times with my eye. His finger hurt so from the strength of my eye that he became irate and tried to kick me. I cleverly blocked the onslaught with my ribs.

I scrambled to my feet and ran to my car in hopes I would get away and save this man from my deadly hands. Before I could start the car he pulled me from the still open door. I then proceeded to swing at him, but only managed to hit myself. To this I thought: What is this -- two against one?

That was the final straw. I lost all control. There will be no mercy. Taking him in the death grip, I pounded him in the knee with my stomach and hit him two or three times hard in the fist with my teeth. He had had it, I could tell. After that he didn't even try to pick me up off the ground. He was too chicken.

I think they don't teach these boys that much about selling the business ... coz I threw a few curve balls his way ... and he didn't react too good to them ... hehehehe ... if I was to ever hold a poker night here ... Well I got drawn into my frist seal tournement event for card crack in god knows how long ... well for $AUS 15 I got a new pre-con deck plus 4 booster packs ... so I'm not going to be complaining about the price of admission ... mind you I lost all my games ... so that's always a great way to start ain't it ... then again I blame it on the fact that I haven't played in 4 weeks ... so am a bit rusty and I didn't know what the deck did ... yes that's my excuse ... :) ... no that it helps me with finding an excuse for my outing today ... played to games and game out with 0 VPs ... ... went out last night and ended up taking a stroll along Manly Beach at about 1am in the morning ... saw the weridest thing ... there was this couple ... doing it on the beach ... in a nicely lit up area ... right smack in the middle of the beach ... at the same time people where walking along the beach checking the couple out ... the guy would just look up and contiune about his busniess ... and I was all like WTF!!! ... man ... talk about exabitionist ...

Hitting the Gym ...

Started working out again ... been going to the gym at least 3 - 4 times a week over the past 4 weeks ... haven't done it since uni days so it was a bit of a system shock on my body ... I joined up at the local Definition Health Club at Blacktown ... it's nice and close to home ... and I'll try and do the morning fitness classes ... once I deem myself fit enough not to embarrass myself too badly ... :)

I've lost 10kg ... mind you looking at the mirror I can't for the life of me see where I lost the kgs from ... my cheeks and love handles are still there ... grumble grumble grumble ... now I'm like thinking about my BMI ... lol ... and thinking if I'm over doing it a little bit ... as my prefect weight is 80kg ... so I'm now 5kg below ... while before I was like 5kg above ... ahhh .. see what society does to you ...

Oh well ... if I ever get my prefect bod I'll be sure to post it ... :P

... Saturday was fun ... went down and saw my god daughter ... Christ kids grow up so fast these days ... I remember when she was just a little tike ... now she’s all grown up and walking all over the place ... ok walking isn’t really the right word ... she runs!!! ... RUNS I tell you ... funny enough she recognizes me now ... so that’s a good thing ... she’s no longer shy and comes to play with her god father ...

Played bowling on Saturday too ... haven't played in a long while ... ok ... a few weeks ... that's long enough ... had a little girl want to play with my bowling ball ... ehehehe ... must have like the colour of it ... was checking out bowling balls again ... since going to the gym my bowling balls feel a little light ... ummm ... may need to buy a new one ... any excuse hey ...

After bowling went down to city extra with another friend ... saw the funniest thing happen ... this group of Leb guys just enter from the exit end ... sit down on the table and try to order ... even though there was a line for people who are waiting to be seated ... the manager asked them to leave ... but I found it funny that they would even try ...

... eating there made my realize how many acquaintances I have no ... there where two people working there that I have meet from friends ... ie friends of friends ... and that’s not the only run in with those types... just goes to show you that the world is really small ...

... Sunday was a lazy day ... got a new DVD player / Stero system for the room ... all I need now is an LCD TV and I'm set for when the PS3 comes out ...

... And yes I did by a replica lightsabre that lights up ... eheheh ... splurge buy ... >>le sigh<< ... sitting on my Stero is this cute Catoon toy ... hehehe ... ahhh ... stuff with sentimental value ... can't beat them ...

... Played badminton at Homebush this time ... interesting place ... highlight being was playing with Markus ... Markus is part of the NSW State badminton team ... Markus is 12 ... and Markus could kick all your asses ... hahahaha ... he's a cheeky bugger too ... and his antics on the court where up to the Jason Lah standards ... was a good work out ... tried playing with my ankle and wrist weights ... and they did provide for a better work out ... but after one hour I was too tired to keep them on ... oh well ... I'll have to condition my body even more ...

PSP and NDS

Well my trip to HK has netted me with two hand held consoles ... the soon to be launched in Aus PSP and the good old NDS ...

Got to say I'm really impressed with the PSP ... it can play movies, MP3s and games ... and haven't a handy 1 Gig Mem stick means I can carry it all ... bawahahaha ... lining up anywhere ... whip up the PSP and play a game of Dynasty Warriors ... heehheeh ... it beats waiting around ...

So if I got the PSP ... why did I go and get a NDS ... well ... truth be told ... to play all the Pokemon games on it ... hehehehe ... I didn't get an Advance ... so I've missed out on all those titles ... but not anymore ... the only sad part is that I can't trade on the damn thing ... stupid NDS ...

Oh well ... to await the release of nintendogs ... hehehehe

Days 6 to 8

Well ... home early for a change ... ie I'm home before 10pm ... hahahahaha ... well normally I'm home around 12am ... so it is early ...

Day 6 saw me go to the happies place on earth ... hehehe ... no it wasn't Disneyland ... that hasn't opened yet ... sad to say ... but I've been to Disneyland USA so no great lost .... where I went was to Sha Tin ... and the one and only Snoopy World ... hehehehe ... the places was just a collection of large snoopy figures ... but it was good enough for me ... hehehe ... took too many pictures ... oh well ... went shopping again as per usual ... seeing as Snoopy World is inside on of HKs shopping malls ... bought too many things ... as per usual again ...

Day 7 was a trip to Lantau Island ... to see the HUGE Buddha .. that is there and walk the 1,000 steps ... well I walked them ... going down ... hehehehe ... it was with a tour group ... and the tour took us to a few of the more rural places in Hong Kong ... inculding Tung Chung Fort and the fishing village of Tai O ... Tai O is a funny place ... famous for dired fish and crab paste ... ok I love crab paste ... but seeing how it's made ... kind of turns me off it ... hehehehehe ...

Day 8 ... well ... what's day 8 ... Day 8 was ... Duty Free Shopping ... ahhahaha ... god ... so sad ... I think I spend way too much money as it is ... went with some locals and managed to score an extra 25% discount ... so I'm happy to spend it ... heheheh ...

Day 4 - 5

Man ... I've been away for 5 days now ... it feels like it's been a week ... well its almost been a week ... gosh I hate this 10MB connection ... once you go cable speed you really can't go back ... mind you I should be happy it's not dial up speed ... but oh well ... I do love to complain ... muahahahahah ...

Day Four saw me once again going on a totaly shopping spree ... zues ... when is there a day that doesn't involve shopping in HK ... went and saw all the dodgy products ... ranging for plastic figurines ... to CDs, DVDs, ... and car acceriores ... and other assorted nik nacks ... man ... too many that I lost count ... but that was in the evening ... the Highlight of the day .. was the fact that I got to go to ...

THE HONG KONG COMICS AND GAMES FAIR .... man ... Supernova eat your heart out ... it was wall to wall packed with the latest in Gaming Acceories, Comics and the lastest in TOYS!!!! .... hahahaha ... god I had a hard time trying not to blow all my cash in one hit ... saw soooo many kewl stuff ... and soooo wanted to get a PSP ... I'll get one ... I seen a few on the cheap so it should all be good ... hehehehe ... but man I've never seen so many Cosplay people in the same room before ... Loved every second that I was there ... well maybe not ever second ... it was wall to wall people as well ...

Day Five ... was a more quiet day ... spent it at Causeway Bay ... got to see Time Square HK style ... but I did blow like $AUS 400 today ... man I think I've got enough business shirts to last me for quiet a while ... my only probs is that I think I'll look better than the mangers at work when I get back ...

So tried ... I should really up load the pics ... for show and tell ... but it looks more likely now that I'll only be able to do it if I don't go out one day ... or if I come back home really early ... one way or the other I'll have the pics up ...

Days 1 - 3

Sorry folks didn't have time to upload more pics today ... well early this morning HK time ... I haven't had a good run of sleep lately ... mainly 3 - 4 hours stints ... with a few mins of power napping while on the trains or the buses or the ferries ... it's been hetics to say the least ...

Straight off the bat we went down to the Markets and spent the first day just shopping ... god I think I've spent way to much already ... on just nick nacks ... it ain't funny ... should really upload the pictures of Mr. Monkey with the nick nacks ... will try to do it when I have a bit more spare time ...

2nd Day was a try out some Cuttlefish Fishing ... we had assumed it was just a "kids" thing ... but when we arrived at the jetty we where suprised to see we where invited to a "family" thing ... where the whole village had turned up for some fishing action ... not suprised to say that I didn't catch a squid ... but the food was good ... hehehehe

3rd Day was a day trip to Macau ... did all the toruisty things ... but didn't get to do the sky walk at the tower ... plan B is now to leave the aunties and uncles in HK and for the "kids" to do another day trip into Macau to give it a go ... coz the aunites and uncles where not really supportive of the "kids" desires to walk around the tower and leave down from 61 stores high ... hehehe ... but we are more than game enough to do it ...

oh well short and sweet ... really need to upload the pics and give a blow by blow with a Mr. Monkey twist ... hope everyone is ok back Syd or where ever you are ..

Well it's 30th July 2005 ... and here I am sitting in front of my lap top ... doing a blog entry ... instead of relaxing in rainy Hong Kong ... what can I say ... I'm a uber geek at heart ... and will always be ...

Now lets begin the cornicles of Mr. Monkey and his Magic Adventure to the land of Asia ...

The Journey began on the 28th July 2005, with Mr. Monkey boarding the 7:30pm flight from Sydney to Melbourne. For some reason Mr. Monkey wanted to take two flights to get to Hong Kong.

Mr. Monkey enjoyed his flight from Sydney to Melborune as it was relatively event free. And wasn't as full as one would have expected. But then again two flights before Mr. Monkey's where cancelled. So that can't be all that great for the Australian Domestic Flight scence.

Mr. Monkey finally touched down at Melbourne International Airport to await the next leg of the flight. A 11pm connecting flight that would bring Mr. Monkey to Hong Kong. But before that could happen.

Mr. Monkey had to do some shopping. Mr. Monkey bought a Gerogio Armane's Night Fragrance. Coz Mr. Monkey heard that people in China smelt bad and he forget to bring some after shave. Well that should be $AUS 70 well spent considering it is the 100ml bottle.

At 11pm Mr. Monkey was finally able to board his flight and get to try and get some shut eye for the big day that was planned for him.

(I'll hopefully write more and fix up the image sizes tomorrow .. it's getting late here and HK and I've had a very busy 1st day .. it's been raining alot and I've spent the past 8 hours shopping so will have more stories to tell ... possilbely tomorrow ...)

We are going on a ... summer holiday ...

Got plenty of time tonight ... so it should be all good ... I hope ... unless I get distracted by something else ... lol ... so easliy distracted it ain't funny ... damn damn damn ...

3 Days To Go ....

Well it's finally hit me ... that I've got three days left before I start on a little tour of south east asian ... the excitment is building ... close to three weeks away ... w00t w00t ...

And as per usual ... I still haven't packed ... should really do it tonight ... hehehe ... if I can be bothered too ... gosh I leave everything to the last minitue ... it's really bad of me ... but meh ... I'll change ... sometime ... hehehehe ...

Go my hair colored on the weekend ... should take a pic of it ... I know ... I always say that and never do ... I'm sooooooooo LAZY ... it's not funny ... but it's all green now .... heheh ... well ... streaked green ... was suppose to be Blue ... said Peppermint Blue ... looks more Peppermint to me .... oh well ... it's a interesting look ... I guess ...

Went down to eat at Toko Sushi at Oxford Street on the weekend ... ate way to much sushi ... hehehe ... but their Duck Soba Noddle Soup was to DIE for ... so yummy in my tummmy that it wasn't funny ... hehehehe ... seems like all their hot food is really nice ... with the sushi train aspect just being the appisiter ... hehehehe ... will definitly go back ... yumm ...

Afterwards went down to Max Brenner's for some yummy hot chocolate ... hehehhe ... was so funny ... we spent 3 hours in there chatting like anything ... and man where we loud!!!! ... I went up for a walk and I could hear the gang from the other side of the shop ... mind you we came in there and the place was dead ... and then after 30mins ... the place was so full ... hehehe ... they kept on giving us the evil look ... coz we where there for soooo long ... but there chocoies as soooooooooooo yummy!!!! .... hehehe

Ate too much and laught way too much ... must have been a good night then ... :)

Sunday saw me fixing my friends comp ... and walking around the city of a little bit ... was sooooooooo hungry ... (damn common theme in all my entries seem to be food) ... tried out this Korean place on Gulborun street ... they had a nice spicy soup for 10 bucks ... nice and spicy!!!! ... hehehehe .. :) ... afterwhich I went to play badminton with the guys ... mind you I think I'm improving ... think being the key word there ... but I really need to start going to the gym again to build up my stamina ... as I can play for about 10 mins ... then after that I can't be stuffed running after the shuttle ... ehheheehhe ... was a good workout ... my only work out from the weekend of overeating ...

Stayed up late last night reading the bugger ... just up to chapter tweleve ... but doing my usual thing ... I read the final chapter of the book first ... hehehehe ... don't ask ... it's just something I do ... :) ...

Well ... that was awfully fast ... another week come and gone ... I said to myself that I'd update this thing regualrly ... looks like that ain't going to happen ...

Well what's new in my world ... nothing much so it seems ... did get a hair cut ... but I just realized that I've gotten the same hair cut for what ... the past 8 years ... the color of my hair changes now and again ... but the cut is still the same ... ummmmm ... trying to think of something werid to do to my hair ... well I'm thinking of dying it blue ... but that's just dye ... should really change the cut ... but I don't know what style will suit me ... ummmm .... maybe I'll see something in HK that will tickle my fantsy ... ummmmm ... maybe not ... hehehehehe

What I do this week ... other than work ... work and more work ... pretty dull during the week days ... until Friday came around ...

Friday evening was spent supporting a family friend ... Sigrid's frist performace at @ the Basement in Blacktown ... we though she was going to sing but it turn out she was just backup for this girl that I though was a flip but wasn't ... >weird< ... anyhow the night wasn't a lost ... had dinner Filo style ... hehehehe ... yum yum ... had Litchun Kawali, Krispy Pata and Kare Kare ... with desert being Halo Halo ... hehehehe ... I'm guessing not everyone will know what the heck I'm talking about ... but trust me it was yummy ...

After that ... my family friends ... well they are more family these days ... hehehe ... helped themselves to getting me to orgainze a round of drinks at home ... ahahahah ... the bar and the karaoke was open from 9pm till late ... where a few had a bit too much to drink ... but it was fun for all ... hehehehe ... I won't post pictures ... :P ...

Saturday was Amie's birthday ... and we all went out to Captain Torres then for some Karaoke Action at K world ... ummmm ... notice a thread here ... food ... and Karaoke ... two nights in a row ... ummmmm ....

Bad experince at the Captain ... we waited for a leat one hour for the mains to arrive after the entrees ... was not a happy camper ... as by that time ... I was so over the food ... after having dinner we went done to K World ... the girls (yes Jasona ... your a girl :P ) sang from ten to tweleve ... while KC and me went down to Bar Ace to shoot some pool ... man I haven't been there in AGES!!! ... lol ... and have completely forgetton about how cheap drinks are at happy hour .. $AUS 2.50 for a Gin and Tonic ... man so use to paying $AUS 7 for it at Bars and Clubs ... hahahaha ... oh well ... must be something about KC coz we keep on getting challenged for the table ... but we fended them off ... so it was all good ...

Didn't know that Deli France on George and Goulburn is now open 24hours ... coz we headed there after the girls had done with singing ... bad experience there too ... they here short changing us one hot chocolate ... damn serving girl was sooooo rude!!!!! ... and there was hair in on of the pastries ... but I ate it anyway ... hehehehehe ... :P ... hey I was hungry ...

Sunday was normal rest and badminton day .... Ed and KL brought two wringers in ... man I don't even remember their names ... hehehehe ... but they where good ... :( ... I got a shuttle in my eye for my trouble ... >sigh< ... oh well ... only 10 days to go ... and I'm jetting off ... the exicitment is now building up ... heheheeh ... :) ... should start packing ...

Another Weekend Gone By ....

Well that was quick ... the weeks seem to be getting quicker and quicker ... only 18 days left before jetting of ... can't wait ... well a quick run down of events in my neck of the woods ...

Friday went down to the Enmore Theater to watch Rove Macmanus do a live stand up act ... I've never seen Rove before live in person ... and didn't release how short he was ... I wondered if he would be as funny in person as he is on the television ... I've had experiences before of seeing comedians live not being as funny as I though they would be ... but Rove didn't disappoint ... mind you ... it was weird hearing him swear so much ... hehehehe ... must be coz he is so PG on his television show ... the shocking thing of that is the fact that there where children at his show ... I didn't think their parents thought that Rove would be swearing so much ... hehehehe ... oh well ...

For the life of me I can't remember Rove's sidekick ... he started off the show ... he's the guy that does the "No smoking in Part of Pubs and Clubs" add on tv right now ... he's tall as ... and Rove is a shortie like anything ... but he was funny too ... loved he's jokes ... :) ... overall it was a good event ... and would like to see Rove perform again ...

The only real bummer about the night was dinner before hand at some cafe near the theater ... can't remeber the name of it either ... god getting alzamirs ... but the place was slow to serve ... and the food took so long to come out!!!! ....

Went out and saw Fantastic 4 this week too ... got to say ... it was so so so ... not great compared to the other comic turned movies out there like Batman, X-men and Spiderman ... but good enough to go watch on the big screen ... even if it's just to see Jesica Alba ... heheheheeh .... it was all good just to hear Johnny say "FLAME ON!" and the Thing say "IT'S CLOBBERING TIME!" ... hehehehe

Got to love watching this movies when their are little kids about ... they say such the darnest thing ... hehehehe ... :) ... like before the Torch said "FLAME ON!" I had the kid behind me already saying they jumping for joy once he actually said it in the movie ... hehehehehe .... kids are funny ... so easily amused ...

To top that off went out to eat dinner at Ashfield ... King Crab House ... and what does one eat at King Crab House ... well Crab of course ... but not a King Crab this time ... a Mud Crab ... yummy!!! ... was soooo full it wasn't funny!

So comes the end of the weekend ... and off to badminton it was ... funny I was looking for an image for badminton ... I when out and googled it ... typing in badminton in google image search ... you guys should try it out ... lol ... the frist picture it has is a laugh ... For all you lazy people not wanting to do it here's the link. ...

War of the Worlds

Went out and watched the movie with my friend on Sudnay ... well .. have to say ... that was bad ... I mean ... real bad ... one of the worse films I've seen ... and the first real dud I've seen this year ... its was AWFUL! ...

I was bored out of my mind while watching it ... about 20mins into it I was ready to leave ...

It's billed as a suspence/drama ... it wasn't dramatic ... and it wasn't suspenceful ... I could see what was going to happen a mile away!!! ...

Oh well ... I was expecting it to be bad ... so I wasn't dissappointed in that sense ... :P ...

Here's hoping that Fantastic 4 is better ... :P ... how can that not be ... "ITS CLOBBERING TIME!" :)

Being the super at work is way more work than I expected ... had the job for one week while the warehouse manager went of to NZ to do some training ... and I was up to my eyeballs in paper work ...

You'd think with computer technology these days we wouldn't need that much paper ... but man ... ever thing comes in triplicate!!! ... it's just not funny ... :(

hehehehe ... I always say that it's nice to be busy ... but I've been flat out for the past few days it just wasn't funny ... :)

Interesting that ... evil/bad is bad ... and anyone that commits a a minor infraction has paved their way to greater infractions later on in life ....

Is it really that easy ... is it really that hard ... everyday people battle injustices in the world ... could our whole society have slide to new lows ...

Funny how it made references to other societies that slide down to decandency(sp?) ... and how the league would destory it all so the slate could be cleaned ...

Is the world cycle now returning to that as well ... secert sociteies that seem to be pulling all the strings ...

Great men achive great deeds ... by overcoming greater hardships ...

.... mmmm .... I wonder if Mr. Gates son will don a crime fighting coustme ... hehehe ... he'd be the only one with the R&D and the funding to be able to pull it off ...

Saw Batman begins last night ... have to say that it was good ... much better than I expected it to be ... I love the return to the dark and gritty setting that the Dark Night belongs to ...

Gary Oldman and Morgan Freeman where outstanding in their roles as SGT. Gordon and Mr. Fox respectively ... Nelson is also top notch ... but their is still an air of type casted Master Jedi Kwai-Gon Jin in him ... still prefer Micheal Keaton as my fav batman of all time ... and Michael Caine as Alfred was a bit werid ... probs coz he's an aussie ... hehehe ... was waiting for the Fosters to come out ...

Overall the story was ok ... could have been a bit better ... but then again it could have been a whole lot worse ... I'd say 4 stars for it ... :)

Name I think my blog is truning into a movie review site!!!! ... :) ...

Well another weekend came and went ... didn't do much ... spent most of it eating eating and well eating ... and of course watched Madagascar ...

Not bad ... had a whole string of good one liners that will now be forever etched into my brain :).. fav characters being the support characters ... they should have played a bigger part ... got most of my laughs from them ...

Can't find a picture of the monkey on the web ... that's not in a flash presention :( ... gosh I hate tralling the net sometimes .... Saw those and I soooo want the penguin!!!! ... :P

... Best line in the movie ... Penguins have reached Antartica ... "Now this sucks!" ... :) ... hehehehe ...

.. over all ... I've say three and a half out of five ... not really a cinema movie ... but it was good fun watching it with little kiddies around ... what the say is priceless ... :)

Got a new Vid Card ...

After 2 months of putting up with my stupid computer crapping out on me ... final got a new video card ...

Ain't it pretty ... hehehehe ... only 128MB of graphics power ... but it's more than enough for my everyday needs ... finally I could play Battle for Middle Earth ... without the comp dieing out on me ever couple of minitues ... ehehhehe ... now all I need is a better sound card ... the internal I've got is crap crap crap ... :)

Queen's Birthday Long Weekend ....

Well another long weekend has come and gone ... man I can't believe how much long weekends mean to me now ... ahahahahah ... soooooooo miss being full time at uni ... where every week could be a long weekend ... hehehehehe ... agghhhh the good old days ....

Well what I get up too ... nothing much so it seems ... but with that nothing much I seem to have went through my weeks pay like it was water ... >sigh< >sigh< >sigh< ...

hehehe ... yeah I think all of it went to food ... damn ... just keep eating out all long weekend ... trying to fill up my tummy from all the vomitting I did over the pass week ... it work it seems ... my cheeks are just as big as ever ... :) ... doesn't stand out as much ... did color my hair again ... it's a lightish brown ... I don't really like it ... need to find a new color me thinks ... want to do it blue ... hehehe ... but I'm wondering if work will find it too outlandish ... ummmm ... will have to see ...

Went and saw Mr. and Mrs. Smith down at Chatswood ... haven't been there in a while ... the cinemas are nicer than I remember ... hehehe .. damn getting old ...

Movie was ok ok ... the plot line wasn't that sharp ... and the one liners where to be expected ... but lots of bullets flying around all over the place ... as I'd give it about two and a half stars ... lol ...

Went down to see The Longest Yard on Tuesday ... a remake of an old film ...

Most of the critics out there have given it from one and a half to two and a half stars ... I though it was pretty good ... ehhehe ... laughed like anything ... but then again ... I find stupid things funny ... so go figure ...

Well there goes another two weeks of life ... man how time goes fast ...

Finally booked my tickets to HK ... so in six weeks time I'm off ... from some much needed R&R ...

Started playing around with my digi cam ... I should take more snap shots of things as I walk around ... but I find it wierd ... coz I feel like a tourist in my own country ...

After some Dremeling I've got the mock up of it ... I'm still trying to decided if I should cut it open a bit ... and insert another pipe into it to give it more detail ... decisions decisions ..

Well ... I know I've crossed a new line of geekdom ... I went out to Bunnings today and got a whole bunch of parts to try and make my own costume lightsabre ... been talking to Vern about it for a while ... and though that I could do it ..

Well the parts came mailing from the Gardening area ... lots of hose pieces ... a bolt and washer ... some odds and ends I guess ... I spent one hour scouring the store ... lol ...

Right now I'm apptemting to sand it all down ... :) ...

Look .. it's 9pm and the lines for Cinema 1 and 2 where long already .. being in Cinema 6 ment that we didn't need to get there that early ... oh well .. the Plastic Prawn Chips where the reason I was there early anyway ...

Some of the more "motivated" people that decided to dress up for the even ... forgot to take a picutre of the young lad that was dressed up as General Gervious .. a very ambious feat ... and the kid did pull it off quite well ...

This group cracked me up ... maybe a good spin off ... Queer Eye for the Sith Guy ... I wish I could post up Vid files ... hehehehe ...

The movie was good ... good enough to make me want to watch it again this Sunday :P ...

My old Epson was dyeing a slow slow death and dad said he'd go out and get a new printer ... but I didn't expect the monstrosity that he would get ...

All I can say is .... man it's HUGE!!!! ... it can scan, copy, fax ... and that's only the buttons that I can see ... haven't had a clear play with it yet ... will try it out when I got something photoshopable ... hehehehehe ...

Ain't it pruddy .... well at least I can print out junk again ... the good think about it is that fact that it comes with separate ink tanks ... so I don't have to keep on buying a new cartraige all the time when I run out of blue ... kewl hey ...

Oh well better head of to badminton before Jason kills me ... :P

funny ... how the sanctity of church seems to bring out thoughs that I don't normally entertain during the week ...

... ran into a person that I didn't think I'd run into again ... but funny how I was talking to a friend about him just recenetly ... you can't run away from the past ... but without the past their would be no present ... odd though ...

I used to really really hate this guy ... funny now that when I think about it ... the reasons for the hate are purely superficall ... lol ... getting old ain't I ... but his got a daughter now ... and he looks like he'll become a great father ... how times change people ... how people change because of time ...
